What is a personal chef?
Most personal chefs come in to your home on a regular basis to prepare
a variety of home-cooked meals based upon your unique food preferences
and dietary needs. But, because Chef Jeff & Co. works out of our commercial
kitchen, we can prepare your meals ahead of time and deliver them on a
regularly-scheduled delivery day, thus helping you to preserve your privacy.
Menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking and cleanup, along with the food
costs are all inclusive. Your dinners are packaged into containers, labeled
with reheating instructions, and stored in your refrigerator and freezer.
All you need do is put your slippers on, relax and enjoy your delicious
meal in the comfort of your own home.
What can a personal chef do for me?
Customized menus and recipes to fit your needs – warm, hearty comfort foods or gourmet creations.
Do I have to be home for delivery?
No and most people aren't. Arrangements for kitchen access are made during the assessment. Remember: we are fully insured, bonded and licensed.
What areas do you cover?
We deliver to Charlotte, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. We are able to ship to most areas east of the Mississippi.
What menus do you offer?
Menus are created based upon your food preferences and dietary needs. Because we have hundreds of recipes, you will never get bored with your choices.
Are all the meals frozen?
All meals are freshly prepared and frozen immediately. You simply move your entrees from the freezer to refrigerator the night before you plan to heat.

Do I pay you ahead of each cooking date?
Yes, it is customary to pay for the service in advance of your cooking date. If you like, you may leave a check for the upcoming cooking date on the previous cook day or send a check via mail well in advance of the next cookdate. The easiest method is to set up an automatic bill payment with your bank. That way, you won't have to remember from week to week. We also have an online merchant account. Simply pay on our website.
What other services do you offer?
In addition to the traditional personal chef service, we do in-home dinner parties, corporate luncheons, and secret chef service. Gift certificates are also available. What a perfect gift for new parents or new homeowners?
